Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966. She was raised in a well-off family. Doody is the youngest of three siblings. In a convent she developed a love for artwork. Later, she studied at Dublin's National College of Fine Arts in Dublin and then left the college because there was a lack of motivation. It was her idea to take a break for a while to get the hang of things. When she was with her friends in a caf when a photographer came in and inquired if she would like to model. In the hopes that she would earn some cash it, she agreed. Soon, she was working professionally as model. It was possible for her to explore the globe with her commercial business after securing modeling agreements. After watching her performance it was suggested to take up modeling. The director sent her to London when she was 19 where she quickly won an audition for the latest James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). The acting was her love and she ultimately decided to work as an actor. The first film she appeared in was followed by a few of TV dramas filmed in London and Dublin. But, her breakthrough came in 1989, when she appeared as her role as the Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alison Alison Alison
